{"id":11092,"date":"2021-02-09T15:05:00","date_gmt":"2021-02-09T15:05:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.westwoodenergy.com\/?p=11092"},"modified":"2025-04-02T15:56:58","modified_gmt":"2025-04-02T14:56:58","slug":"riglogix-platformlogix-case-study-helicopter-leasing","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.westwoodenergy.com\/news\/case-studies\/riglogix-platformlogix-case-study-helicopter-leasing","title":{"rendered":"RigLogix \/ PlatformLogix Case Study &#8211;  Helicopter Leasing Company"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2><strong>The Challenge<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Client needed to identify locations of assets and gain visibility of how long that asset will be on location.\u00a0 They also needed to identify upcoming moves and length of stay.\u00a0 In addition, the Client was interested in asset distance to shore to improve logistics planning.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><strong>Our Process<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">a) Understand the Client&#8217;s business<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It is imperative for helicopter leasing companies to understand logistics needs<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">They must not only understand current locations but upcoming in order to plan effectively<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">b) Understand the Client challenge \/ question \/ problem<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Lack of visibility on current production facility locations and future movement.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">c) Assess how we could help<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Asses current and upcoming rig locations and movement<\/li>\n<li>Understand current platform locations, how long they have been on location and length of time left<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">With RigLogix the client is able to recognize current and upcoming rig locations as well as upcoming movement.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">With PlatformLogix the client is able to recognize current platform locations, how long they have been on location and length of time left on location.\u00a0 It also allows for upcoming projects.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><strong>Delivering Insight<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>We determined a combination of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westwoodenergy.com\/riglogix\"><strong>RigLogix<\/strong><\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westwoodenergy.com\/platformlogix\"><strong>PlatformLogix<\/strong><\/a> would provide the Client with a solution that ticked all the boxes.
